Hurry up Hackers! #m2Work Hackathon in Kathmandu on Sept 15–16 [Invitation]

After the m2Work ideation phase, which was conducted by infoDev and Nokia's Idea's Project, four mLabs and a mHub (Mobile Nepal) are organizing m2work Hackathon on September 15 - 16, 2012 with the support of infoDev and YoungInnovations Pvt. Ltd. The four mLabs are situated in Republic of Armenia, Kenya, South Africa and Vietnam. Mobile Nepal is organizing the hackathon in Nepal.

The objective of the hackathon is to create mobile applications based on mobile microwork. The participants can convert ideas posted in the ideation phase or own ideas based on mobile microwork. The winners will also be awarded.

3rd:Rs.10,000

The m2Work Hackathon aims to:

Shape promising idea submissions into mobile application prototypes;

Bolster other prototype mobile microwork applications that qualify for pre-incubation support at infoDev’s Mobile Application Labs (mLabs), and

Increase awareness for the job-creating potential of mobile microwork in developing countries.

Download and Install Nepali Unicode Romanised to write in Nepali all over the web. First of all, you have to Download and Run the Program on your computer. Then, you have to do some settings on your computer to use Nepali Unicode Romanized. You can download Nepali Unicode Romanized from the Madan Puraskar Pustakalaya website for free. Install Nepali Unicode Romanized in Windows XP: Install: Run setup file; Go to control Panel; Open Language and Regional settings; Open Regional Language Options; Go to Language Options & tick on check box (install files..... SLC Result 2068/2069 Published

The Office of the Controller of Examinations, Sanothimi has published the results of the SLC examination for the academic year 2068, on Wednesday evening. Out of 528,257 examines, 47.16 percent students passed the SLC this year. Shirish Ko Phool : Review & Download

One of the finest book ever written in Nepali literature....Shirish Ko Phool and one of my personal favorite. I have read this novel over four times or say five times..and each time I finish the novel I feel pang and it hangs on my head for so many days. Why guilt is so painful that made such a strong woman called Sakambari to suicide..or die…?? The novel has a wonderful language..the simplest of all. When I had read it for the first time..to tell the truth that I hadn’t really understood the novel, I felt the love story in it and I could not understand the passion in the novel.. But this day I may say I am able to figure out the passion and the feelings of the author..
