Highway’s Song ‘Paplu’ Released Online [Music Video]

The most awaited Nepali Movie ‘Highway’ which is set to release on 20th July 2012 (साउन ५, २०६९) has released its song 'Laija Re Laija Re’ (Paplu) online.

Song ‘Paplu’ is shot on actress Reecha Sharma, who has played a role of bar dancer in the movie. Director Deepak Rauniyar said, “Clearly, It’s not an item song, though song was shot in the dance bar”. “There’s no song in the movie other than Paplu”, adds Rauniyar. “Story needs this song and it’s not an item song rather a dance number”, said Reecha Sharma in a television interview.Highway-Nepali-Movie

The first crowd funded Nepali movie ‘Highway’, which has been creating a buzz ever since it went into production was screened at one of the most prestigious film festival ‘Berlin Film Festival 2012’ on February. Directed by Deepak Rauniyar and produced by Dr. Sameer Mani Dixit, Dr. Lonim P Dixit. Joslyn Barnes and Danny Glover, the movie is believed to be another milestone in Nepali film industry.

SLC Results 2068/2069 to Publish in Mid June

The result of the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) 2068/2069 examinations held earlier this year will be published in mid June (First week of Asar). According to ekantipur , the Office of the Controller of Examinations is going to publish the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) results 2068 in third week of June. Deputy Controller Ambika Pd. Regmi said, “We are trying to publish the result as soon as possible. If we go according to our plan the results would be out by the third week of June”. SLC Results 2068 will be available online as soon as the Controller of Examinations published the results. Shirish Ko Phool : Review & Download

One of the finest book ever written in Nepali literature....Shirish Ko Phool and one of my personal favorite. I have read this novel over four times or say five times..and each time I finish the novel I feel pang and it hangs on my head for so many days. Why guilt is so painful that made such a strong woman called Sakambari to suicide..or die…?? The novel has a wonderful language..the simplest of all. When I had read it for the first time..to tell the truth that I hadn’t really understood the novel, I felt the love story in it and I could not understand the passion in the novel.. But this day I may say I am able to figure out the passion and the feelings of the author..
